DRS Kids School celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Dec 26: DRS Kids School New Plot, Jammu celebrated its 6th Annual Day with theme ”Being Secular” at  Government Women College of Jammu, here today.
The programme started with prayer “Vandana” by young toddlers seeking blessing from Goddesses in sweet & heart touching tone making every one present feeling  emotive & totally devoted to almighty. This was followed by lighting of traditional  lamp signalling spread of light through education, knowledge, disappearance of darkness and ignorance.
On the occasion S Baljeet Singh Principal of DBN Higher Secondary School  was the chief guest  and Vijay Kumar Sharma (Retd Excise Commissioner) was the guest of honour.
The diverse culture, customs and heritage of our great nation was displayed by young ones through colour costumes, songs and dances depicting our resolve to uphold unity in diversity with complete harmony.
Marshal Arts for physical fitness and patriotic songs about the patriotism of men in uniform and civil at the time of need was real thought provoking and touched every ones heart receiving great applause from audience.
Mrs Roopam Kaur, Head of the school thanked the parents, guest, faculty member for their assistance, suggestions and cooperation which school always value as source of inspiration and future improvement in teaching and other activities of school.
