JAMMU, Dec 26: A mini-bus driver allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in Greater Kailash area.
As per reports, mini-bus driver identified as Ashok Kumar, son of Rattan Lal of Ramnagar, district Udhampur, was found hanging in a mini-bus bearing registration number JKO8B-2395 in Greater Kailash.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
The body has been kept in the mortuary of GMC Hospital for postmortem, which will be conducted tomorrow. After completing legal formalities, the body will be handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Greater Kailash police post and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind the incident.
