RAJOURI, Aug 29: The police arrested a youth for abusing a young boy and passing caste remarks against him in Rajouri area today.
A police spokesman said that on the complaint of one Sahil Kumar, son of Bittu Kumar, resident of Dassal, one Bunty Saryal, son of Rattan Saryal, resident of the same village has been arrested on the charge of passing objectionable remarks against his caste and thrashing him.
A case FIR No. 411/2023 under Act 3 of SC/ST Attrocities Act has been registered against the accused, Bunty Saryal.
