JAMMU, Sept 4: J&K Super Seven Cricket team defeated Punjab convincingly here today in Vanasthali Public School Cricket Ground, Nizampura Delhi.
As per the available information, Punjab’s Super Seven Cricket team after batting first scored 108 runs by the loss of one wicket in stipulated seven overs. Arman scored 57 runs, Daljit 40 and Gurtej scored 11 runs for Punjab. While chasing the target, the Jammu and Kashmir team showed great determination and they chased down the score by the loss of only two wickets in just 6.2 overs with four balls to spare. Shiva scored 52 runs, Sujal 37 and Manav scored unbeaten 17 while Daljit scored 2 runs.
Muneer was the J&K team coach and Amar Singh as Manager while Ajay Sharma, General Secretary of J&K Super Seven Association applauded the team’s performance. 13th Sub Junior National Super Seven Cricket Championship was organised by Super Seven Cricket Association of Delhi between 4 to 6 September in Delhi under the aegis Super Seven Cricket Federation India.
