JKMS clinches first spot in folk dance competition

JAMMU, Sept 6: The students of JK Montessorie School (JKMS) bagged first prize in the inter school folk dance competition held under the Forum of youth talent search wherein the students of various schools participated.
The vivacious dancers set the floor on fire with their energetic performances. The fun filled extravaganza, offered folk dance forms of Rajasthan, Punjab, Jammu and Gujarat. It was a challenge for the judges to pick out the winners. But after giving a tough competition to the dancers of other schools the lucky ones who stood out were Hitarthi Bhan, Tanvi Sharma, Sanvi Verma, Sanvi Thakur, Sanvi Gupta, Drishti Bhagat, Aroohi Verma, Agamjot Kour and Jessica.
Rajni Gupta Director, JKMS appreciated the students on winning the Ist prize and appreciated the combined efforts of the students and teachers who were involved in the preparations of the Folk Dance.
