MENDHAR, Sept 6: The people of Mendhar area, facing severe powers cuts held strong protest demonstration against PDD authorities here today.
Report said today morning, Bhopar Mandal Mendhar and local people held strong protest against the Power Development Department at Tehsil Chowk Mendhar town. Loud slogans were raised against the PDD Department during the protest by the people.
Locals of area including Mohammad Fareed, Ishfaq Hussain, Fazal Ahmed and others said that this is the condition even during the festival. The general public is upset, due to which they have to take to the streets today. They demanded that strict instructions should be passed on to Electricity Department staff in Mendhar and Poonch to ensure regular power supply.
