Will lay foundation stones of projects worth crores

JAMMU, Sept 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Madhya Pradesh (MP) and Chhattisgarh on September 14, where he will lay the foundation stones of several developmental projects worth crores.
As per the schedule of Prime Minister, a copy of which is available with the Excelsior, he will reach Bina in Madhya Pradesh around 11:15 Am, where he will lay the foundation stone of projects worth over Rs 50700 crores including Petrochemical Complex at Bina Refinery and 10 other industrial projects across the State.
At around 3:15 Pm, he will reach Raigarh in Chhattisgarh, where he will dedicate to the nation important rail sector projects. There, he will also lay the foundation stone of “critical care blocks” besides distributing one lakh sickle cell counselling cards.
As per a statement, the state-of-the-art Petrochemical Complex at Bina Refinery will be developed at a cost of approximately Rs 49000 crores and it will produce about 1200 KTPA (Kilo Tonnes Per Annum) of ethylene and propylene, which are a vital component of various sectors like textiles, packaging, pharmacy, among others.
“This will reduce the country’s import dependence and will be a step towards fulfilling the PM’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat,” read the statement.
Followed by Bina, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of ten projects including a power and renewable energy manufacturing zone in Narmadapuram District, two IT parks in Indore, a mega industrial park in Ratlam, and six industrial areas across MP.
While the power and renewable energy manufacturing zone in Narmadapuram District is being developed at the cost of Rs 460, the IT parks in Indore are being developed at the cost of Rs 550 crores. Meanwhile, the mega Industrial Park being in Ratlam is being constructed at a cost of Rs 460 crores.
All the facilities will provide employment opportunities to the unemployed youth of Madhya Pradesh.
In Chhattisgarh’s Raigarh, the Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation important rail sector projects worth around 6350 crore. These projects include Chhattisgarh East Rail Project Phase-I, 3rd Rail Line between Champa to Jamga, and 3rd Rail Line between Pendra Road to Anupur and MGR system.
These rail projects will also provide impetus to socio-economic development by facilitating movement of passengers as well as freight traffic in the region.
During his stint in Chhattisgarh, the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of 50 bedded critical care blocks in the Districts of the State.
In order to address the health issues caused by the sickle cell disease especially among the tribal population, the Prime Minister will also distribute one lakh sickle cell counselling cards among t he screened population.
