28th Srinagar District Snooker C’ship concludes Mudasir in senior, Kamran in junior lift titles

SRINAGAR, Sept 18: Mudasir Ashiq in seniors and Kamran Majid in juniors lifted the snooker titles in 28th Srinagar District Snooker Championship which concluded here today in Srinagar.
Mudasir Ashiq defeated Younis Kuchey in Senior Snooker finals by score of 82-57, 74-09, 94-21, 12-69, 16-60, 74-61.
Vivek Pathak, Chairman Cue Sports India, Media Officer International Billiard Snooker Federation and Asian Confederation of Billiard Sports was chief guest on this occasion who presented trophies to winners and runner-ups in the championship.
Umer-ul-Islam was runner-up in the junior category while Younis Kuchey was runner-up in the senior category snooker championship. Highest Break to Mudasir Ashiq with 93 points in the championship.
The District Championship was organized by J&K Billiard and Snooker Association under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council in Srinagar under the supervision of Umer Himayun, vice-president (Kashmir), Jammu and Kashmir Billiard and Snooker Association.
