POONCH, Sept 20: In an Inter District Division level competitions of Under-17 boys Volleyball and Under-17 boys in Hockey concluded here today.
Parvinder Singh Joint Director IT was the chief guest of the closing ceremony. He applauded the efforts of DYSS Poonch for organising such a mega event at Poonch. He also appreciated YSS Director for providing platform to young players from grass root level.
This sporting extravaganza is being organized under the patronage of Director Youth Services and Sports, Subhash Chandra Chibber, Deputy Director Central YSS Jitender Mishra and is able guided by JD-YSS Jammu, Suram Chand Sharma. Moreover overall supervision of the event falls under the purview of DYSSO Poonch and Mohd Qasim.
In the final match of volleyball District Jammu defeated District Kathua by 3-0 sets where in Hockey Under 17 years Boys District Jammu clinched the trophy by beating District Poonch by 3-0 goals.
