JAMMU, Sept 24: All Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association (AJKTA) held trials cum Umpire, Referee seminar for the National Taekwondo Championship in collaboration with Ganesha Academy of Martial Arts (GAMA) here today.
Around 34 senior athletes from all over Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory including 13 girls participated in it. The 2-day event was organized under the supervision of Sabum Mukesh Thakur (4th Dan Black Belt, ITF). Baldev Billawaria, Deputy Mayor, JMC, Jammu was the chief guest.
He appreciated the association for organizing the seminar and felicitated the participants with certificates and some gifts. The seminar was conducted under the auspices of All J&K Taekwondo Association affiliated with the Indian ITF Taekwondo Federation and International Federation.
Other black belt senior officials present were Bhavin Thakur, Geetansh Thakur, Pawan Singh, Sachin Thakur, Anjali Thakur, Akshdeep Singh, Raju, Hardik Gupta, Ayush Mahajan and Vikram Singh.
