JAMMU, Sept 27: An open powerlifting Championship was conducted today at Angry Bulls Gym in Salehar area on outskirts of Jammu.
Powerlifters from more than 20 gyms participated in the Championship, which was organized by Abhishek Charak (proprietor of Angry Bulls Gym), who was also chief guest on the occasion while Arjun Saini (powerlifter) was the guest of honour.
In open category, Vikas Kumar emerged overall Champion of the competition. He bagged 1st prize in the weight category of 60-70 kg while Rahul Kumar got second and Raghav secured 3rd prize.
In 70-80 kg weight category, Manik Sharma got first position whereas Nitin Sharma bagged 1st prize in 50-60 kg weight category.
