JAMMU, Jan 4: Under the banner of Matsogi-Do Association of Jammu and Kashmir, the State team won 79 medals, with 28 gold, 26 silver and 25 bronze in the 9th National Matsogi-Do Championship held at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Delhi recently. The gold medalists of the Championship have qualified for the selection trials for Asia Matsogi-Do Championship to be held at Kathmandu in Nepal in the month of June 2014.
The gold medalists included Utkarsh Sudhan, Ansh Gupta, Vashu Sharma, Anchal Sumbria, Akshit Sharma, Meenu, Navjyoti, Aditi, Mehak, Megha, Meenakshi, Poonam, Muttu, Rajkunwar, Aman, Akshay, Vinod, Danish Jamwal, Prashant, Nazir Ahmed, Aryan Katal, Arvinder, Ommanish, Jagpreet and Munish.
The silver medals were bagged by Neeraj, Parkshit Sharma, Uttarksh, Abhishake, Akarshit Gupta, Neha, Jasbir, Jaidev, Tanishh, Anmol, Amanpreet, Prabjot, Prince, Nawaz, Aryaveer, Vivek, Ahmed and Inpreet Singh, while bronze medal winners included Deepak, Udhay Sharma, Abhinav, Rayana, Nitya, Simran, Sadhvi, Janvi, Jyoti, Hamani, Ridhima, Priyanshi, Ekta, Preeti, Gurjeet Singh, Rajveer Singh, Sourav, Abhinash, Atenderpal, Komal, Amit, Harpreet, Ashutosh and Avichal.
