JAMMU, Sept 28: Jammu (Province) Bachao Manch (JBM), a non-political body fighting for the restoration of Statehood with land and job guarantees along with the redressal of other issues of the region, has appointed Advocate Ashok Sharma as its Chairman.
As per a statement issued by the organisation, Dr Kuldip Sharma, has been appointed as the Chief Advisor-cum-Chief Spokesperson, Advocate Usman Salaria as Vice-Chairman, Captain Lalit Sharma, PCCF (Retired) as Chief Coordinator, Davinder Singh Jamwal and Advocate Istkar Khan as General Secretaries, Thakur Hoshiar Singh Sumeria as Spokesperson, Advocates Om Singh Bandral and Sumit Sharma as Organisers, Haji Shah Mohammad and Yash Pal Singh Jamwal as Advisors, Sushil Sharma and Dalbir Singh Chib as Organising Secretaries, Advocate Naresh Chander Sharma as Coordinator, Er Ashwani Kumar Sharma as Secretary, Karm Chand and Kailash Bhardwaj as Joint Secretaries, RC Sharma as Media Secretary, and KJS Manhas, Principal District & Sessions Judge (Retired), Col BD Sharma (Retired), senior journalist OP Sharma, former IGP Dr Yash Paul Sharma, Advocate Satish Dutta, social activist RS Bhatti, educationist Rakesh Sharma, and Advocate Zahid Sarfaraz Malik as Executive Members.
Jammu (Province) Bachao Manch claims it is committed to combat corruption, price hike, tax imposition, drug menace, crime, unrest among youth, farmers, workmen, professionals and traders, and resolution of other issues of Jammu like installation of smart meters, and Sarore Toll Plaza.
