JAMMU, Sept 28: Two bike-borne miscreants snatched a chain from a woman here at Trikuta Nagar area of the District today.
Police have registered an FIR in the case and arrested two suspects for questioning.
As per details available with the Excelsior, two individuals riding on a bike snatched a chain from one Vijay Sharma wife of late Vishnu Dutt of House Number 16, Sector 3, Trikuta Nagar Jammu, near a temple in Sector 5 of the locality around 9:30 am today.
Soon after receiving a written complaint from the woman, police registered an FIR number 285/2023 under section 382 of the IPC and started investigation.
Accordingly, a team headed by SHO Trikuta Nagar, Inspector Shiv Dev Singh, arrested two suspects in the case, who are being quizzed for their involvement in the crime.
“We’re expecting a breakthrough in the case soon and accordingly the recoveries would be made,” said SHO Trikuta Nagar, Inspector Shiv Dev Singh.
