JAMMU, Oct 1: Vijay Sharma of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory shined in Tuffman Chandigarh Half Marathon by clinching gold medal.
Tuffman Half Marathon was organized at Chandigarh in which over 2500 runners from all over the country including 10 from JK-UT participated. Vijay Sharma from Jammu won Gold in the age category of (40-50) years by clocking his Personal Best (PB) timing of 1 hour, 31 minutes. Other runners who participated from Jammu in the marathon were Ajay Gandotra, Ravi Choudhary, Sat Pal Kalsi, Dr Sanjeev Mohan, Rohit Sadotra, Surinder Singh and Raghav Samrat whereas DySP Naresh Sharma participated in 10 Kilometers Run and Pooja Sharma participated in five kilometers run.
