JAMMU, Oct 1: 13th District Speedball Championship concluded here today which was organized by J&K Sports Speedball Association at Dogra Higher Secondary School. Around 150 players from various schools of Jammu district took part in the competition.
Harjeet Singh, First Class Magistrate was the chief guest while Ableena Malik (SDPO Railway Jammu) was the presiding guest; Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Munish Gupta and Reema Tikk were guests of honour.
S.D Tara Puri School remained overall champion, May Fair School won 2nd Runner Up trophy, Shiksha Niketan High School remained on third place. The matches were officiated by Sahil Janjua, Sandeep Sharma, Amer Koshal, Sahil Kaith, Suryansh, Dhruv Choudhary, Sanvi Bakshi, Gurvansh Ch, Yogant Singh, Taniya Singh, Parkash Singh under the supervision of event organizer Sunny Nanda ( General Secretary J&K Sports Speedball Association.
The gold medal winners were Bhupinder Singh, Ali Abass, Neeb, Priksham Parihar,Sushant Thakur, Pallav Kumar, AkalKirat, Mannat, Prikshit Sharma, Rakshit Bali, Sharshti Sharma, Karanveer, Ayush Sharma, Shivansh , Rayansh, Gulshan Singh, Rachit, Shivang (DHSS), Harshika Bijyal, Elise Rajput, Hiral Gupta, Sheely, Mahuri, Janvi, Madhu, Aysha and Suryansh. All winner players were selected for Inter District Speedball Championship to be held at Samba.
