KISTHTWAR, Oct 6: A cricket tournament ‘Brotherhood Cricket Premier League 2023’ organised by Indian Army at Chowgan ground Kishtwar concluded here today.
The 43 days long event was inaugurated on 29 August 2023 in which a total of 126 teams took part from the surrounding villages of Kishtwar town besides teams of remote villages.
The matches were conducted on a league-cum-knockout basis and the final match was played between Warriors Kishtwar and Mintoo Brothers. The team Mintoo Brothers put up a stellar performance to clinch the Brotherhood Cricket Premier League Championship 2023. The award-winning teams and players were felicitated during an impressive presentation ceremony by an Indian Army Officer.
Rabnawaz was declared as best batsman of the series while Jaffer was the best bowler. Shakir was declared as best fielder of the series and Rabnawaz was declared as man of the series.
