Command Level Football Competition concludes

JAMMU, Oct 8: The Command Level Football Competition concluded at 3 Mahar Ground here today in which six Army schools from western command participated. The competition saw spirited performances from young athletes, but it was APS Patiala that emerged triumphant, securing coveted first position.
The final match was an intense battle between APS Patiala and APS Dhaula Kuan in which APS Patiala emerged victorious. The event was graced by the presence of Major General Gaurav Gautam GOC 26 Infantry Division, and Chairman School Brigadier RBV Mukkundi, 162 Infantry Brigade who were chief guests on this occasion. They also distributed trophies and certificates to the winning team and individual performers.
Major General Gaurav Gautam said, “This Command Level Football Competition aimed to provide a platform for young talents to shine, and it did just that. The dedication and sportsmanship displayed by all the participating schools was truly commendable.”
