Ridhik clinches men, junior; Saleem bags veterans title

POONCH, Oct 15: In the 33rd Riaz Ahmed (Daddu) Memorial Poonch District Table Tennis Championship, Ridhik clinched both men and junior titles while Saleem Banday won in veteran’s category.
Vinay Sharma, Senior Superintendent of Police was the chief guest while Sunil Sharma was the guest of honour on this occasion. They appreciated the role of Table Tennis Association for organising the event.
The results of the day were Saleem Banday beat Dr. Jasbir Singh in veteran’s category by (11-6,8-11,9-11,11-4,11-3) while Ridhik Kapoor won the Junior boys title by defeating Zaffar Ahmed in a close contest by 3-2 (8-11,11-9,11-4,9-11,11-7). He also clinched the Men’s title defeating Mudassar by (11-5, 8-11, 11-8, and 11-9).
