J&K Open Karate Championship-2023 concludes

JAMMU, Oct 16: J&K Open Karate Championship-2023 organised by Japan Shotokan Karate-Do Kanninjuku Organization J&K in association with Nat Manch & Leo Martial Arts Academy concluded here today.
In the opening ceremony Munish Sharma Senior BJP leader and Dr. Tarun Sharma Actor & Director, President Nat Manch & Japan Shotokan Karate – Do Kanninjuku Organization J&K, Incharge Cultural Cell BJYM, eX member AKAJK, renowned Karate personality were chief guests on the occasion while Dr. Dheeraj Jamwal Sharma MD IDPS, Akhnoor was the guest of honour.
Deepak Khajuria Senior Journalist and Reetika Jamwal Senior Judo coach were the special guests on the occasion.
In the closing ceremony, Shihan Ambedkar Gupta Indian Karate Team Coach, ex General Secretary AKAJK and National Association was chief guest and Sanjay kumar general secretary AKAJK was special guest on the occasion.
More than 200 contestants from various parts of J&K participated in the Championship.
The tournament was conducted under the technical supervision of Shihan Ganesh Gupta 5th Degree Black belt, Style chief Japan Shotokan Karate-Do kanninjuku Organization J&K and Er. Palvi Sharma Ist National Gold Medalist and Asian Player.
The bouts were officiated by Anil Sharma, Rinku Sharma, Vikas Charak, Shashi, Vinay, Tushant Gupta, Manik, Chaya, Naresh Singh, Dheeeej Singh and Geetanjali were also present on the occasion.
The event was conducted in a very congenial environment and all the candidates displayed best of Karate skills.
