Georgia’s Tedo wins 10th International Kesari Dangal at Mathwar

JAMMU, Oct 20: Tedo Wrestler from Georgia won the 10th International Kesari Dangal organized at Baba Ballo Ji Devasthan in Mathwar here today. This international Dangal was organized under the chairmanship of Baba Yashpal Sharma. Wrestlers from Jammu-Kashmir, Punjab, Maharashtra, Chandigarh, America, Ukraine, England and other countries showed their strength in this wrestling match being organized with the help of Indian Style Wrestling Association.
Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir, Dilbag Singh and Baba Yashpal Sharma inaugurated the historical 10th International Dangal at Mathwar. Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar, IGP Jammu Anand Jain, DIG Traffic Shakti Pathak, SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli, Team Jammu Chairman Zorawar Singh were also present during the inaugural ceremony. Sanjeev Verma, Commissioner Secretary GAD was the Chief Guest during the final bout.
During Dangal the top bout of 1 Lakh 51 Thousand was held between India’s Sandeep Khanna and Georgia’s Tido. Tido defeated Sandeep Khanna and captured the prize money of Rs 1,51,000. The second top bout took place between Kalu Bharowal and Bharat Madane of Maharashtra, in which Madane defeated Kalu Bharowal and lifted the award prize of Rs 1, 10,000.
During this, SSP Railway, Mohan Lal Kaith, ADC Jammu, SP Rural Jammu, SDPO. Akhnoor, SHO Gharota, SHO Akhnoor, BMO Akhnoor, Tehsildar Bhalwal, former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavindra Gupta, Yudhveer Sethi, District Development Council Member Joginder Singh @Kaku, District Development Council member Taranjit Singh alias Tony, former MLA Udhampur Pawan Kumar Gupta and many other prominent citizens were presence.
