CCA wins Bilateral Series against YK Sports by 2-1

JAMMU, Oct 21: In the exhilarating 50 Over Bilateral Series between Country Cricket Academy (CCA) and Yawar Khan Sports (YKS) concluded with a riveting finale, resulting in a 2-1 series win for CCA.
Today’s match, despite an intense battle, witnessed CCA stumbling at 163/10 in 34.5 overs after winning the toss. Notable batting performances from Lakshya (35 runs off 57 balls), Raj Rajput (22 runs off 36 balls), and Sarthak Khoda (21 runs off 28 balls) were overshadowed by an exceptional bowling display from YKS’s Asif, who claimed 5 crucial wickets, supported by Aleem Malik and Usman.
The second innings showcased a spirited batting effort from YKS’s 166/3 in 30.1 Overs, Yawar Khan (66 runs off 66 balls), along with notable contributions from Akmal and Adil, scoring 37 and 36 respectively. However, CCA’s Sarthak Khoda’s impactful bowling, securing two key wickets, and Manav Banotra’s contribution of 1 wicket, limited YKS’s victory to a 7-wicket triumph, securing the runners-up position.
