JAMMU, Oct 22: The BSF Primary School bagged overall trophy in boys section and remained runners-up in girls’ category in the under-11 age group of the North Zone CBSE Judo tournament at Modern Defence School Hissar in Haryana.
Headmaster of the School, Sonia Gupta appreciated the tireless efforts of students and Judo coach Rameshwar Singh Jamwal for grooming the budding talent. Medal winners in girls were Ruhi Katoch, Gold (35 kg), Simranjot, Silver (40 kg), Haroon Kour, Bronze (above 40 kg). Boys; Udhay Singh, gold (25 kg), Keshar Singh Wazir silver in 40 kg and Rudhar Partap, silver in above 40 kg and Atharv Rathore, Bronze (35 kg). The five players were also selected CBSE National Judo championship.
