JAMMU, Oct 28: Government College of Education, Jammu hosted a two day Inter Collegiate Basketball Championship for both men and women at MA Stadium, Jammu which was organized by Cluster University of Jammu. GGM Science College and GCW Gandhi Nagar emerged victorious in the final and lifted the trophies respectively.
Dr. Jatinder Khajuria, Registrar, CLUJ was the chief guest in the event while Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Director, Physical Education and Sports, CLUJ was the guest of honour and Ramandeep Kralia, Physical Director along with Dr. Deep Kumar Bangotra of GCOE coordinated the overall event under the supervision of Director, Physical Education and Sports, CLUJ.
In the men’s Basketball competition, the overall trophy was won by GGM Science College by defeating Govt. MAM College by 45-30 points. In women’s category, the overall trophy was won by PSPSGCW, Gandhinagar beating Govt. SPMR College of Commerce by 4-2 points.
