JAMMU, Oct 29: A free eye check-up camp was conducted at Sri Hari Prabhu Ashray Nagrota Gujroo in Tehsil Ramkot in collaboration with Goel Eye Clinic and Retina Centre Jammu.
Medical team from Goel Eye Clinic and Retina Centre Jammu led by Dr. Ankur Goel, Ophthalmic Surgeon examined the patients and 110 patients from far flung areas of Billawar, Ramkot, Majalta and Mahanpur were examined in the camp out of which 29 were screened for cataract surgery which will be done on November 3, 2023 at Rotary Eye and ENT Hospital Udhampur free of cost.
Sanstha arranges free transport for these patients from Nagrota Gujroo to Udhampur for conducting operations.
Dr. Ankur Goel assured to hold more such camps for poor and needy patients at Nagrota Gujroo in future too.
