JAMMU, Oct 30: Organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu (JU) Jammu, the Inter Collegiate Kabaddi (M) Tournament commenced at the University Gymnasium Hall, here today.
Dr Daud Iqbal Baba (Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, JU) declared the Tournament open by flipping the coin after introduction with the participating teams’ players, in the presence of the Incharge Physical Directors of the participating teams.
Four matches were played today. Government Degree College (GDC) Bishnah beat GDC Sidhra by 15 points (30-15), GDC Reasi thrashed GDC Paloura by 3 points (18-15), GDC Samba defeated GDC Vijaypur by 10 points (30-20) and GDC Rajouri beat GDC Chenani by 4 points (26-22).
The matches were officiated by Dheeraj Sharma, Amandeep Singh, Harpreet Singh, Keshav Singh, Raki Sharma and Gagan Kumar.
Tomorrow, the next round of the matches will be played at 10:00 am onwards.
