RAJOURI, Nov 1: Muslim Educational Trust Higher Secondary School Thannamandi celebrated its 48th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm. In this regard, a colourful function was organized in the school where Administrative Secretary Tribal Affairs Shahid Iqbal Choudhary was chief guest whereas Principal District and Sessions Judge Tahir Khursheed Raina, Mohd. Farooq Muztar Founder Patron Himalayan Mission Rajouri was also present.
Tahir Khurshid Raina said that even in adverse circumstances, Khurshid Bismal did a lot for the children to get education. Whereas Dr Shahid Iqbal praised the school administration and said that providing quality and modern education to children is the most important need of the hour. He said that in this modern age, the students should participate in sports in addition to the academic field.
Those who were present included DDC Thannamandi Abdul Qayoom Mir, Nazir Ahmed Qureshi, MN Qureshi, Muhammad Hanif, Naseer Ahmad Raina, Ibrahim Mir, Abdul Ghani Shawl, Molana Abid Hussain, Bashir Ahmed Wani, Mohd Bashir Shawl and Mufti Abdul Rahim including many religious, political and social figures from across the region.
