JAMMU, Nov 4: The Day 3 of the KVS National Sports Meet 2023-24 witnessed an intense display of sporting prowess among the girls in the discipline of Kabaddi, Hockey and Chess.
In the ongoing Hockey matches at K K Hakku Stadium in under -14 category, Lucknow secures a tight 1-0 win over Delhi, Mumbai outplays Patna with a 1-0 victory and Chennai exhibits dominance with a 2-0 win against Patna while in Pool 1, Delhi clinches victory against Mumbai with a 1-0 score.
In U-17 category, in Pool 1, the match between Delhi and Lucknow ended in a draw with a score of 1-1. Meanwhile, in Pool 2, the match between Bhopal and Bengaluru also ended in a draw with a score of 0-0. In Pool 1 match, Ranchi secures victory against Mumbai with a 1-0 score, in Pool 2 match Chandigarh emerges victorious securing a 5-0 win against Patna, the match between Tinsukiya and Lucknow ended in a draw with a score of 0-0, Jaipur outplayed Bhopal with a score of 1-0 in Pool 2 match and Chennai emerged winner against Delhi with a score of 1-0 in Pool 2 match.
In Kabaddi matches which are underway at MA Stadium in U-14 category, Patna emerges strong with a remarkable 71-18 win over Chandigarh, Hyderabad secures a close 28-26 win against Mumbai, Bhopal region triumphs over Raipur with a close 37-36 win, Ahmedabad Region dominated Agra with a 36-29 victory, Kolkata Region showcases dominance with a commanding 37-9 win against Gurugram, Chennai outplayed Delhi with a resounding victory of 45-14 and Kolkata demonstrated strength with a strong 48-5 win over Chandigarh.
Mumbai triumphed over Agra with a 43-31 victory, Jabalpur outplays Bhopal with 42-38,Bhuvaneswar beat Delhi by a score of 39-29, Gurugram showcased dominance with a commanding 42-03, Patna out wins Ranchi by a 34-24,Lucknow faces Bengaluru, resulting in a score of 14-40, with Bengaluru emerging as the winner, Chennai triumphs over Ernakulum with a strong score of 34-5, Ranchi out wins Chandigarh with a score of 36-24, Ahmedabad triumph over Mumbai with a 40-36 win, Raipur dominated with a 42-24 score over Jabalpur and Patna outplayed Jammu with a commanding 44-10 score.
In U-17 category: Kolkata triumph over Ernakulum with a solid 32-17 win, Bengaluru secured a 38-14 win against Gurugram, Dehradun exhibited dominance with a 46-34 win over Bhuvneswar, Delhi outplays Chandigarh with a 45-32 victory, Raipur secures a dominant 42-17 won over Agra, Jaipur triumph over Ahmedabad with a commanding 47-11 score, Guwahati won over Chandigarh by 37-33, Gurugram triumphs over Bengaluru with a 38-14 win, the match between Tinsukiya and Patna ends in a draw with a score of 34-34, Ranchi triumphed over Varanasi with a close score of 21-20, Kolkata secured victory against Jammu with a score of 47-33, Hyderabad outplayed triumphant over Bengaluru with a score of 26-22.
In Boxing, a total of 137 matches took place in the under-14, U-17 and U- 19 categories at Police Public School, Miran Sahib.
In Chess, five rounds have been completed in each of the under-14, 17 and 19 categories.
