Rich Harvest School hosts Sahodaya Interschool painting competition

JAMMU, Nov 5: Rich Harvest School, Bari Brahmana today organized an Interschool Painting Competition under the aegis of Sahodaya Schools Complex.
Chief guest of the occasion was Dr Milan Sharma while Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak (former Minister R&B and Chairman of the School) and Gambhir Dev Singh Charak (Managing Director of the School) and Ruchi Charak (Director) presided over the programme.
More than 70 budding artists from 24 CBSE schools of repute poured their colourful imagination on canvas making the judges job a tough one. The jury comprised faculty members from the Institute of Music and Fine Arts, University of Jammu-Simran Dogra, Vaneeka Gupta, Ankush Kesar and Parveen Kumar.
The distinguished guests gave away the prizes to the proud winners. In class 3rd category, first prize went to Mehar Fatima (IDRS), second prize to Priyanshi Choudhary (APS Sunjuwan), 3rd prize to Pranavi Jugran (APS BD Bari) and consolation prize to Varunaya Samrat (IDPS- Jammu).
In class 4th category, first prize was bagged by Bhavesh Guleria (APS BD Bari), second prize by Mayra Basandi (St Peter’s High School), third prize by Ojaswi Gopal (APS Sunjuwan) and consolation prize by Dishita Choudhary (Heritage School). In class 5th category, first prize went to Virajay Singh (Sai International School), second prize to Nakul Gurung (Model Academy, BC Road), third prize to Saksham Patti (St Peter’s High School) and consolation prize to Anant Seth (Heritage School).
The participants and guest faculty members were entertained by the RHS Scholars with glittering song and dance performances during the Prize Distribution Ceremony.
