JAMMU, Nov 6: The Inter College Judo Championship (Men) 2023-24 organized by the Cluster University of Jammu at Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu concluded here today in which SPMR Judo team won the overall Championship 2023-24 by clinching four Gold, one Silver and two Bronze medals.
The team were Sumit Kumar, Bhavya Sharma, Sourav Sharma, Harsh Ghai, Himanshu Samyal, Sushant Bjharti and Nikhil Manhas participated in the Championship. The team was given rousing reception in the college by the Principal staff and students of the college.
Dr. Jatinder Khajuria, Registrar, Cluster University of Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion and Dr. Ranvijay Singh, DSW CLUJ was the guest of honour. Principal of the college, Prof. Surinder Kumar, Convenor Sports Prof. Shafkat Jahangir, Prof. Savita Jamwal, Prof. Pawan Gupta, Dr. Monika Malhotra, Prof. Harpreet Kour and Prof. Apfan Ali congratulated the team for its outstanding performance.
