MMI Pre School celebrates Annual Day Fiesta

JAMMU, Nov 7: Modern Montessori International (MMI) Pre School Jammu today organized an impressive function at Police Auditorium, Gulshan Ground, here to celebrate its Annual Day Fiesta 2023-24 which was based on the theme of ‘Atulya Bharat’.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu, Anand Jain was the chief guest of the function while Principal of MMI Pre School Gurgaon, Nita Dutta was the guest of honour. The occasion was also graced by Team MMI comprising Directors of the School of Bhavna Rohmetra, Sapna Rohmetra and Neeraj Rohmetra, and Co-ordinator Sonam Gupta.
The function started with lighting of ceremonial lamp by the chief guest accompanied by other guests and dignitaries. It was followed by enactment of ‘Unity in Diversity’ through a spectacular dance performance by the tiny tots of the School on the song ‘Hum Sab Ek Hain’.
Thereafter, Principal of the School, Pragya Gupta presented Annual Report of the School including achievements of the School in a short span of time. She also shed light on the theme of the programme ‘Atulya Bharat’ and stated that the young school children will showcase vibrant traditions, customs and culture of India through their performances in the function.

In his address, the chief guest said that as he has also studied in a Montessori school, he is well aware of the Montessorian culture. He said there is a passion in teachers of Montessori schools and same the passion he has witnessed in the teachers of MMI Pre School Jammu.
Anand Jain said good education lays solid foundation of a child and MMI Pre School Jammu is doing this job in an excellent manner. He applauded the tiny tots for presentation of beautiful performances while stating that the young children performed beyond expectations.
“The hard work put in by the teachers and staff of MMI Pre School Jammu was visible in the performances of the students,” Jain said and gave special applause to the teachers and parents of the children.
Nita Dutta, while speaking on the occasion said, “The performances of the little students have filled our heart with pride and wonder. Through their performances, we could see the immense potential and creativity that resides in each of them.”
She said these types of programmes help students to engage in purposeful activities leading to development of their bodies, minds and spirits. She expressed gratitude to the management of the School to give her this wonderful opportunity to see the tremendous talent and potential of the children.
Earlier, the students presented a beautiful Rajasthani dance on ‘Ghoomer Ghoomer’ song, plays ‘Its Summer’ and ‘Baby Shark’, Marathi dance performance on the song ‘zing zing zingaat’, Punjabi dance performance on ‘Bolo Tara Rara’ song and Dogri as well as Kashmiri dance performances on famous songs ‘Tare Turan Payiyan’ and Bhumroo Bhumroo’.
The programme ended with vote of thanks presented by Principal of the School.
