JAMMU, Jan 17: Defeating Marh Block Cricket Club easily in the quarterfinals, Hind National Cricket Club sealed berth in the semifinals of the ongoing BJYM’s ‘Khelega Yuva Jeetega Bharat’ Cricket Tournament at Parade ground, here today.
Earlier, Marh Block Cricket Club won the toss and chose to bat first. In their innings of twenty overs, the team scored 115 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Mitu was top scorer with 38 runs. For Hind National CC, Kuldeep scalped 3 wickets.
In reply, Hind National Cricket Club scored the required runs in 12.4 overs. Siddharth scored impressive 30 runs in just 15 balls. Amit took 1 wicket for Marh Block Club. Siddharth was declared man of the match.
Senior BJP leader and Incharge BJYM Yudhvir Sethi, State president BJYM; Ravinder Raina, State general secretary and Programme Incharge Ajay Pargal, State Vice President and Programme Co-Incharge Karan Sharma, Ashish Sareen, District president Jammu West BJYM Ajay Vaid were present on the occasion.
