JAMMU, Nov 17: Heritage School students have once again made both the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and their country proud by representing India at the esteemed Surin International Folklore Foundation Festival in Thailand.
The team India presented Dogri folk dance and Gujarati garba in the competition. The audience loved their bright costumes and the colourful presentations. Participating alongside expert teams from Hungary, Korea, Nepal, Bulgaria-1, Bulgaria-2, Russia & Myanmar, this event served as a platform to display the rich heritage and artistic prowess of India on the global stage.
Heritage students participated in this festival under the banner of the Udbhav Sports & Cultural Association Gwalior-India, an organisation which organises International Dance Competitions that bring together top-tier schools from India and numerous teams from various countries every year.
The talented student dancers Pavit Kaur, Sharon Gupta, Siona Gandotra, Mishti Gupta, Manya Kohli, Nameah Khanna, Sukhnoor Kaur, Harmandeep Kour, Mridula, Vani Chopra, Ananya Jamwal, Pearl Dogra, Mannat Proch, Avnika Proch, Rishika Bhagat, Lakshika Majotra accompanied by Shalini Sharma, the Dance Teacher, and Neha Sharma, Cultural Activities Incharge, showcased exemplary commitment, talent, and artistry throughout their journey.
