JAMMU, Nov 17: Students of Delhi Public School Udhampur brought laurels for the school by qualifying into the semi-finals of India’s biggest quiz, Indian Army Quiz 2023, “Battle of Minds” commemorating 25 years of Kargil Victory, held at Srinagar. The school emerged as 1st Runner ups in the quiz competition.
Students who participated were Sargam Mahajan (VIII), Harinav Sharma (IX), Sanchi Bhardwaj (X), Krivi Tehlan (X) along with six other teams of J&K. The students reached the semi-finals after crossing various levels of the quiz. Level one and two were on online mode between 28000 students and 3600 schools across India. Quarter finals and Semi-finals were held in offline mode at Kashmir where DPS became 2nd leading team of Semi Finals.
Students along with the mentor brought laurels by winning cash prizes Rs.50,000 for school and Rs 85,000 and Tabs for the team. The students were mentored by Rakhi Gupta chief CCA Coordinator DPSU& Bablu Parihar TGT SST.
Pro Vice Chairman of the School, Dr. J. C. Gupta applauded the team for reaching this level and inspired them to continuously take part in such events. He distributed the certificates, medals & cheques to all the winners.
