JAMMU, Jan 19: Defeating their rivals in the semifinals today, Domana Cricket Club and Chander Shekhar Cricket Club sealed berth in the finals of the ongoing BJYM T20 Cricket Tournament at Parade ground, here today.
In the first semifinal match, Domana Club defeated Rajguru Cricket Club by a big margin of 81 runs in an easy contest. Batting first, Domana scored 159 runs in the stipulated 20 overs by losing 6 wickets. Vishal Salaria was the top scorer with 37 runs. For Rajguru Club, Dilbagh Singh took 2 wickets.
In reply, Rajguru Club bundled out for a paltry total of 78 runs, thus lost the match by a huge margin of 81 runs. For Domana Club, Vishal Saini took 3 wickets. Vishal Salaria and Vishal Saini shared man of the match award.
In another semifinal, Chander Shekhar Club got better of Hind National Cricket Club by 40 runs.
Earlier, batting first, Chander Shekhar Club scored 143 runs in 20 overs. Sahil top scored with 36 runs. For Hind National Club, Siddharth took 3 wickets.
In reply, Hind National CC bundled out for 103 runs to lose the match by 40 runs. Siddharth was the top scorer with 49 runs, while for Chander Shekhar CC, Sidhant Singh Bagal and Vivek Bablu scalped 3 and 2 wickets respectively. Sidhant was adjudged as man of the match.
