AKHNOOR, Nov 23: BJP leader and member DDC, Jammu, Pt. Suresh Sharma here today started blacktopping work of Chowki Choura to Salodi road. The cost of this NABARD project work is Rs. 4.41 crore and on completion it will benefit a large population of the area.
It was a long pending demand of the people of the area and Suresh Sharma has fulfilled the same.
Speaking on the occasion Sharma said that it is the topmost priority of BJP Government to provide road connectivity to each village for smooth movement of vehicles which is necessary for development.
“Construction work of two tunnels on Jammu-Poonch National Highway clearly shows our developmental works,” he said and also started work of road blacktopping in village Barola of Panchayat Barui.
Sharma claimed that every public demand for road construct will be fulfilled very soon in Chowki Choura and Maira Mandrian blocks in coming days.
He said: “Our Government under the leadership of PM Modi has been doing every effort to develop and empower each and every section of the society and sincere efforts are being made for equal development of all.”
Executive Engineer, Sunil Dogra; Capt. B.D Sharma, BJP Mandal president; Naib Sarpanch, Subash Chander; Romesh Lal, Ex-Sarpanch; Prabhu Dayal, Panch; Deep Singh, Parshotam Lal and many other prominent persons of the area were also present on this occasion.
