RAJOURI, Nov 23: Thannamandi Police today arrested a drug peddler along with charas like substance.
“Zulifqar Ahmed son of Abdul Qayoom resident of Behrote (Thannamandi) was arrested along with 10 grams of charas like substance after he was intercepted by a police team over his suspicious activities,” a Police spokesman said.
The spokesman said the accused after interception tried to flee from spot but the alert team of Police Station Thannamandi caught him on spot. The arrest was made by a police team headed by SHO Thannamandi Hilal Azhar.
A case FIR Number 167/2023 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act was registered in this connection and further investigation started.
