JAMMU, Nov 24: In a commanding display of skill and teamwork, KC Public School asserted its supremacy by defeating KC International School by a formidable 84 run margin in the Inter School Cricket Tournament here today. The event was organised in memory of founder Chairman, Sudarshan Mahajan. After winning the toss, KC International restricted KC Public School on 140 runs in the allotted 20 overs.
The turning point came as KC Public School bowlers orchestrated a remarkable turnaround, dismantling the opposition for a mere 56 runs. Captain Shaurya Manhas, scored 37 and clinched two wickets, spearheaded the charge, supported by Vanish Gupta, who scored a quick fire 35 runs off just 17 balls. Bowlers Achyut Verma, Arush Sharma, Navneer, Kamran, and Paras Safaya contributed significantly, stifling the opposition with exemplary bowling. The team’s stellar fielding prowess sealed the victory.
