Doda, Nov 25: The Chenab Bigbash 2023 T-20 Leather Ball Cricket Tournament concluded at Doda sports stadium here today. There were around 32 teams from different parts of Jammu Division. The event was organized by the Doda Titans Sports Club in collaboration with the Diamond Youth Club.
Deputy Commissioner Doda Harvinder Singh along with Senior Superintendent of Police Doda Abdul Qayoom besides Commander 10RR Army, Municipal Council Chairman Doda, ACR Doda, Deputy Director Employment Doda, District Information Officer Doda, Tehsildar Doda, EO MC Doda, SHO Doda, Salman Suharwardy, Nadeem Wani, Umar Khoda and Irfan Malik besides others were present on this occasion.
The final match was played between Muzaffar Brothers Ala and Shining Cricket Club Doda. After winning the toss Muzaffar Brothers scored 165 runs in 20 overs. Nitan Sharma scored highest 42 runs. In reply, Shining Cricket Club chased the score and won the match by 3 wickets. Man of the match in the final was Mudasir Rafiq from Shining Cricket Club Doda while man of the series was Sourab Katoch.
The organizers of the event were lauded for their efforts in promoting cricket in the region and providing a platform for young talented players to showcase their abilities and talent.
