JAMMU, Nov 27: Divisional level Ekal Vidyalaya Sports competition was held at Bhagwati Nagar Sport Club, here today.
Winners of today’s division level competition will secure an opportunity to represent their respective regions in the national level games scheduled for 18th, 19th, and 20th January 2023 at Nagpur Ground in Maharashtra.
During the closing ceremony, former Minister Priya Sethi interacted with the participating students and encouraged them for displaying the spirit of sports.
International wrestler and SSP Dushyant Sharma, was chief guest on the occasion. He emphasized the significance of sports and discipline in the lives of students.
The organizing committee, led by Program Chairman Narinder Singh Bhau, comprised Gram Swaraj President Vijay Pehalwan, General Secretary Dhanveer Singh Chib, Vice President Rajkumar, Keemti Lal Jain and workers of Ekal Abhiyaan.
Raj Kumar, President of the event, presented vote of thanks.
Earlier, an impressive rally was taken out at the inaugural of Ekal Vidyalaya competitions, under the chairmanship of Narinder Singh Bhau. The rally was organized by the Ekal Abhiyan Abhyudaya Youth Club.
