JAMMU, Jan 21: Under the banner of BJYM and “Khelega Yuva Jeetega Bharat” final match of Jammu District was played at Parade Ground, here today.
The final match was held between Chander Shekhar Azad Cricket Club (CSACC) and Domana Cricket Club (DCC).
SP North, Jugal Manhas was the chief guest, who distributed prized among the winners and runners-up teams. DySP North, Kulveer Handa, SHO Pacca Danga, Mahesh Sharma, SI, Sumeet Sharma, Senior BJP Leader, Aseem Gupta and State President BJP Mahila Morcha, Priya Sethi were the guests of honour. State Incharge BJYM, Yudhvir Sethi, State President BJYM, Ravinder Raina, State General Secretary and Programme Incharge, Ajay Pargal, State Vice President and Programme Co-Incharge Karan Sharma, Vice Presidents, Bharat Sharma and Ashish Sareen, District President, Jammu BJYM, Ishant Gupta, District President, Jammu West BJYM, Ajay Vaid and District President, Akhnoor BJYM, Vikas Choudhary were present on the occasion.
Rohit Verma, MD Nutrition Heart sponsored the trophies and T-Shirts for the matches.
Senior BJP Leader, Aseem Gupta chaired the proceedings of the match.
CSACC made 143 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Sahil Balwal was the top scorer who played an impressive knock of 52 runs, Jatin Wadhawan made 38 runs and also Vivek Sharma played very well. Vishal Singh from the bowling side scalped 4 wickets. In reply, DCC were all out on 91 runs in 16 overs. Vishu registered 22 runs in his name and was the top scorer from DCC. Siddhant Bagal scalped 3 wickets from the bowling side.
Sahil Balwal received the prize for man of the match and Siddhant Bagal received the prize for man of the series.
Priya Sethi, Yudhvir Sethi, Ravinder Raina, Ajay Pargal and Ishant Gupta also spoke on the occasion.
