Retired Sports Council employees raise concerns

JAMMU, Nov 28: In a general meeting, Retired Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council (JKSC) employees have highlighted several issues and grievances here today.
The general meeting of retirees was convened at Hari Singh Park Jammu, where retired Sports Council Employees passionately highlighted their concerns and grievances. The meeting, graced by the presence of notable figures such as Salamat Chaudhary, Om Parkash, Babu Dutta, Vishwamitter, Mohd. Shafi, Chaman Lal, Ajit Singh, Ramditta, Roop Chand and presided over by Nazir Ahmed the retired section officer and Vice-President of the Sports Council Employees Welfare Committee.
During the discussion, the retired employees emphasized the pressing need for a comprehensive review and revamping of the pension scheme tailored for Sports Council employees. They pointed out that the existing pension fund creation plan lacked proper implementation on the ground and also urged concerned officials to maintain accurate records of retired Sports Council employees across both regions to address the welfare concerns and resolve issues effectively.
