JAMMU, Nov 30: The match 11 of the Legends League Cricket 2023 between Gujarat Giants and India Capitals was abandoned due to the wet outfield at the Maulana Azad Stadium in Jammu here today.
As the Legends League Cricket (LLC) is underway at MA Stadium in Jammu, the excitement surrounding cricket has engulfed the entire division of Jammu as well as the sports community in the Kashmir division. The India Capitals vs Gujarat Giants game was called off due to bad weather before a ball was ever bowled, though the rain has persisted in playing spoiler. For both sides, this was a match that would determine whether they advanced to the top four.
The Parthiv Patel-led Gujarat Giants are currently atop the standings with five points from four games, including two wins, one loss, and one washout. The formidable India Capitals, led by Gautam Gambhir, are currently ranked fourth with three points from four games, including one win, two losses, and one washout.
Gujarat Giants lead the standings with four league games remaining, followed by Manipal Tigers and Urbanisers in second and third place, respectively. India Capitals, Southern Super Stars, and Bhilwara Kings are ranked fourth, fifth, and sixth, respectively.
