JAMMU, Nov 30: Despite rains in Jammu, Mission Statehood Jammu and Kashmir (MSJK) held a strong protest for the restoration of statehood to J&K.
Addressing the protesters, MSJK president Sunil Dimple asked the BJP as well as RSS to clear their stand on restoration of Statehood to J&K in the 2-day meeting starting in Jammu tomorrow. He also demanded implementation of instrument of accession conditions signed by Maharaja Hari Singh with India during the accession of J&K in India.
He also demanded RSS-BJP to clear stand on PRCs, protection of land & jobs, and unification of J&K, Ladakh, PoK, Gilgit, Baltistan in J&K State. Dimple alleged that RSS-BJP has created a lot of chaos, uncertainty and complete anarchy in J&K after the dismantling the erstwhile Dogra princely state and abrogation of Article 370, 35-A.
Dimple alleged that the BJP is trying to divide J&K further into separate Kashmir and Jammu states with introduction of Article 371. He out rightly rejected the further division of J&K in two separate states. He said we don’t want separate Kashmir or Jammu State and Article 371 is not acceptable.
Other leaders participated in the protest include Swarn Singh, Pahalwan, Vijay Virdi, Arun Verma, Balu Kumar, Kala Singh, Lohoari Shah and Babu Singh.
