HP gains 200 runs lead against J&K

JAMMU, Dec 3: Himachal Pradesh gained a huge first innings lead of 200 runs over Jammu and Kashmir in the ongoing Cooch Behar Trophy match being played at Luhnu Cricket Ground Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh.
Earlier, resuming from an overnight score of 173/3, Himachal Pradesh sailed on the big knocks by wicketkeeper batter Ujjawal Sharma and Satvik Katoch to score a huge total of 435/8 before declaring their innings.
Ujjawal Sharma scored a splendid century, scoring 111 off 161 balls, studded with 15 fours and 2 sixes, while Satvik Katoch contributed valuable 87 runs and Abhinav D Sharma made 55 runs. J&K were 24/1 in 7 overs in the second essay at stumps on Day-3 today. With the final day’s play left in the match, J&K are still trailing by 176 runs with 9 wickets in hand.
