Baramulla, Dec 5: The 4th District Baramulla Taekwondo Championship 2023-24 concluded at JKSC New Indoor Stadium, Khwajabagh, here today.
The two day event was organized by District Baramulla Taekwondo Association under the aegis of J&K Taekwondo Association. More than 100 players from different schools, clubs and Academies participated in the Championship.
The statement said the first day of the event witnessed a massive show of combative skills and was attended by Master Atul Pangotra as chief guest. The event was designed and proposed by the technical committee of Baramulla Taekwondo Association under the supervision of Adv Neelofar Masood, President, Baramulla Taekwondo Association. Mumtaz Ahmad was the organising secretary while Mohsin Ali, Abid Ayoub and Anwar Ahmed were tournament referees and officials.
At the closing ceremony Iqbal Ahmed Akhoon (Secretary, DLSA) was chief guest while Mohammad Ibrahim Wani (Manager, J&K Bank Azad Gunj Branch) was guest of honour who distributed medals among the winners.
