JAMMU, Dec 6: Government SPMR College of Commerce in Men section and Government College of Women Gandhi Nagar in Women section lifted Kho-Kho Inter-College trophy here today.
The final matches of Inter College Kho-Kho (Men & Women) tournament of Cluster University of Jammu were played at GCW Gandhi Nagar. Dr Vinod Bakshi, Director Physical Education and Sports, Cluster University of Jammu & Physical Director GGM Science College was the chief guest on the occasion.
The tournament was organised under the overall supervision of Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Director Physical Education & Sports, Cluster University of Jammu and under the supervision of Dr Roopali Slathia, Physical Director GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
In women’s section the final matches were played between GCW Gandhi Nagar and Government SPMR College of Commerce in which GCW Gandhi Nagar won by three points while in Men’s section final matches were played between GGM Science College and Government SPMR College of Commerce in which Government SPMR won by seven points.
Prof. Malti Rajput, Sports Convenor, GCW Gandhi Nagar, Prof. Harmeet, GCW Gandhi Nagar, Prof. Abhinav Sharma, GCW Gandhi Nagar, Prof. Ajaz, GCW Gandhi Nagar, Prof. Balbeer, GCW Gandhi Nagar, Prof. Paramjeet, GCW Gandhi Nagar, Prof. Neelam Thapa, GCW Gandhi Nagar, Aijaz Malik, Physical Director, SPMR College of Commerce, Neenu Sahwney, Physical Director, Govt. MAM College, Ramandeep Kralia, Physical Director GCOE, Jammu were among the various dignitaries present during the occasion. The match was officiated by Sahil Dev Singh, Sunil Sharma, Amrinder Pal Singh, Huniket Sharma, Sahil Angral and Yogesh Kumar.
