JAMMU, Dec 7: The Department of Youth Services and Sports Jammu hosted Inter Division UT Level selection trials competitions in the discipline of Handball U-14 Boys & Girls at Dogra Ground Shastri Nagar & Karate U-14 & U-17 and Volleyball U-14 Boys and Girls at Khel Gaon Nagrota Jammu here today. In this competition about 250 players participated.
Statement said the competition is being organised under the patronage of Director Youth Services and Sports JK-UT Subhash Chander Chibber under the guidance of Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu Suram Chand Sharma and the overall supervision of DYSSO Jammu Sukhdev Raj Sharma.
The statement further said the main aim of this competition is to select the best player for the next level of competition coming ahead. DYSSO Jammu appreciated winners for their best performance in the competition at Jammu and also advised them to remain in practice for the inter district division level competitions.
