JAMMU, Dec 7: KC International School Jammu celebrated its 15th Annual Day amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, here today.
Chief Guest for the event was Padamshree Balwant Thakur. Among other distinguished dignitaries were Dr Vinod Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu, Dr Ashok Kumar Sharma, Director School Education, Ranjeet Kalra, Member J&K Sports Council, Subah Mehta, Joint Director School Education, Kulbir Handa, SP Jammu, Vishal Sood, Dy SP Jammu. Among the management dignitaries present were Chaitanya Chowdhary, President, Saroj Mahajan, General Secretary and Dr Shikha Chowdhary, Finance Secretary.
Senior school coordinator Roma Gupta presented the formal welcome followed by a sapling presentation by the members of the management. The school Council presented the school annual report highlighting the school’s achievements. The highlight of the day was the play Mahabharata, which left the audience enormously spell bound with a gripping enactment by the senior school students.
The achievers were felicitated by the Chief Guest, Balwant Thakur who expressed delight on the accomplishment of the school and urged the students to hone and sharpen their talents to carve a niche for themselves and bring laurels to the State/UT as well as their nation. Towards the end, the guests were felicitated with the memento as a token of appreciation. Principal KCIS, Anupama Sinha, presented the vote of thanks.
