JAMMU, Dec 8: Kreeda Bharati Jammu and Kashmir has finalised three names for this year’s Jijabhai Awards to outstanding athletes from Jammu and Kashmir on December 10.
This was decided and finalised in executive body meeting of the Kreeda Bharati held here under the chairmanship of president, Shiv Kumar Sharma and addressed besides others by Dr Sanjogita Soodan and Sunil Mahajan.
“After scrutinising the names of top J&K athletes, it has been decided by the penal to present this year’s Jijabhai Award for outstanding contributions in sports to Archer Sheetal Devi, athlete Abrar Choudhary and cricketer, Shubham Khajuria,” disclosed secretary Kreeda Bharati J&K, R C Vaid.
This year, the Kreeda Bharati has also decided to felicitate and honour those veteran and present prominent sportspersons, sports administrators, former coaches and office bearers of the Associations.
